Another successful weekend for the Melbourne Zouk Lambada dance scene!
The weekend kick started with a fantastic night of entertainment at the combined Melbourne Zouk / Spin City Dance gala night that featured Australia’s most dynamic duo, Larissa & Kadu from Rio Rhythmics!
The Zouk Lambada workshops on Sunday were very well supported by the Melbourne dance community. Sunday night brought us to the grand finale with ‘Zouk Nights’ -100% Zouk music only and the 2nd Melbourne Zouk Lambada Dance Competition.
Congratulations to all the competitors and in particular the winners Izzy Washington and Brad Gavin from Melbourne Zouk who took out 1st place and secured 2 full passes to Brazil Central Zouk Lambada Congress in Brisbane, 2-4th October.
A special thanks to everyone who supported the weekend by performing at the event or attending any of the workshops and parties.
Look out Melbourne, Zouk Lambada is here to stay!
